The Next Shift Project — "Over the Boards" Two-Tone Cap

The name comes from the encouragement players give one another on the bench: the last shift is behind you, and the next one is ahead. The Next Shift Project carries that sense of support beyond the rink.

The project's invitation is to break the ice on difficult conversations using the language of hockey. The designs are intended to give people a familiar opening to talk about mental health and where to find help.

The Next Shift player rides the front panel, and the 988 line rides the back — so the message travels wherever the hat does. Two-tone crown, structured fit, produced to order, ships in 5-11 days.

Founded by Joe Tuia'ana, i love you, bro PROJECT focuses on men's mental health and suicide prevention. Its free weekly peer support groups give men a place to practice opening up, connect through shared experiences, and support one another. These groups are peer support, not crisis intervention.
