The next shift can start with a conversation.
The Next Shift Project is an initiative from SLC Puck. Its invitation is to break the ice on difficult conversations using the language of hockey.
The name comes from the encouragement players give one another on the bench: the last shift is behind you, and the next one is ahead. The Next Shift Project carries that sense of support beyond the rink.
A shared love of the game can give a difficult conversation somewhere to begin. The invitation is to make time, listen, and create room for an honest answer—and help one another find support.
The collection remains under review. No products, beneficiary relationship, donation program, or release date are being announced on this page.
In the U.S., call or text 988 for free, confidential support, 24/7. You can reach out for emotional support before a crisis. If there is immediate danger, call 911.
The Next Shift Project and SLC Puck do not provide medical care, counseling, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
